Samsung recently announced the official statement of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update release, for I9100G edition of Samsung Galaxy S2 Mobiles. It has already been released in many parts of the world and was released in India, a few hours earlier.
Jelly Bean Update Details
The update has a size of 329 Mb. Reports via OTA should reach all the users within a few hours from the official release. To check if the update is available on your mobile phone, Browse the settings -> Phone -> Software Updates and scan for available updates.
Before updating, make sure you have atleast 50% charge left on your mobile phone and a High Speed Internet or WiFi connection.
The update is already available for Galaxy S3, Note 2. There are a lot of notable features and additions in the Jelly bean update like Google Now, Offline Voice to Text Translation, Photosphere, Daydream, Improvised Lockscreen and integrated apps.
